The robot is equipped with WiFi and Bluetooth and is therefore easy to connect to our App. In the App, you can set, among other things, the times at which the mower should start, so that the robot mows the lawn even when you are not at home. Control your mower from anywhere on your phone.

Katrien is easy to operate via the App on your smartphone. This allows you to give the robot tasks remotely. Thanks to the WiFi (and Buetooth), this is possible even when you are not nearby. For example, you can program a mowing schedule in the App, so that the mower will mow on the set days and times. You can of course also operate the robot with the handy display on the mower. So it is always easy and quick to set up. You can plan a different mowing schedule every day. This allows you, for example, to tailor the mowing cycle precisely to the growth rate of the grass in spring and autumn. The robot will automatically charge, so it is always ready for its next mowing. When it has finished mowing the lawn or when it is empty, it will return to the placed boundary cable and then drive over the boundary cable back to its charging station. The robot can also return to the charging station at your request.

Always a very tight turf.

Katrien is equipped with a special mowing deck which ensures that it mows the field nice and smooth and is less affected by bumps during mowing. This specially designed mowing deck floats over the lawn, as it were, like a floating deck. With this mowing deck you can adjust the height from 2-6 cm. This allows you to decide how high or low the grass should be mowed. The mowing deck has a cutting width of no less than 18cm. This ensures that the robot mows in a large width and therefore takes less time to mow the entire lawn. Simply clean the mowing deck with a garden hose so that grass or other objects do not get stuck under the mowing deck. The robot can also drive on slopes up to 24˚/45%. This ensures that if you have slopes in your garden, or areas with height differences, this is not a problem for the robotic lawnmower as long as it remains within the height it can handle. Thanks to its floating mowing deck, the robot will continue to mow the grass on these slopes at the same height.

Different fields? No problem.

It is possible to mow different zones/fields with this robotic lawnmower. This is very useful if you have several areas of lawn around your house. As long as there is space for the mower to drive to the areas, all those fields can be mowed. For example, you can indicate certain functions in the App, such as where the robotic lawnmower should enter the field. Make sure that the passage width to another lawn is at least 0.8 meters wide. Otherwise the robot will have difficulty getting to the other lawn. With the zone division you can indicate where on the boundary cable it should enter the field. You can indicate after how many meters it should drive into the field and what percentage of the total set mowing time the robot should continue to mow in this area. The robot can drive over a path provided it is at the same height as the grass and is paved (no gravel, etc.)

Installation of Katrien's robotic lawnmower

The robotic lawnmowers are easy to install using the installation manual. You can find this in the manual of Teun and Katrien. You will need the supplied accessories for installation, such as the Boundary Cable and the Boundary Cable Pins. You can also order this separately if the boundary cable is too short or too few meters. Make sure that when you lay the cable, it must run straight 1 meter from the charging station, so that it can drive properly on the charging station. Also keep in mind that there must be 30cm free space between the boundary cable and an edge, if it cannot drive over this edge. If there is an edge that he can drive over, this only needs to be 8 cm. Place the charging station on a flat surface and without obstacles around it, so that the mower can always find the charging station well and easily. It is important that the mower can always access the charging station properly and can properly follow the boundary cable to the charging station, so that it can charge here when necessary.
