The first time cleaning windows with your new robot window cleaner.
A good start is half the battle! That’s why we’ve created this step-by-step guide to help you use your Zoef window cleaning robot correctly and avoid any issues. Follow these simple instructions, and your windows will be sparkling clean in no time.
Step 1: Connect your new robot vacuum cleaner.
Plug the window cleaning robot into a power outlet and attach the safety cable securely. Ensure the charging cable is properly connected and check if the charging light is on. Connect the safety leash so the robot will be secure. A fully charged backup battery allows the robot to operate for some time without being connected to cables.
Step 2: Attach the cleaning cloth.
Attach a clean cleaning cloth to the underside of the robot. Make sure the cloth is firmly secured and does not extend beyond the cleaning path to avoid covering the sensors. This ensures an even cleaning performance and prevents the cloth from coming loose during operation. For the best results, use only cloths compatible with your Zoef Robot.
Step 3: Fill the water tank.
Fill the robot's water reservoir with lime-free water. Ensure no soap or other cleaning agents are added to the water unless specified in the manual. Close the water reservoir securely to prevent leaks. (Adding 1/4 cleaning vinegar ensures a streak-free result.) For the Bobbie 2.0 model (without water spray), you can dampen the cloth yourself with water and optionally a small amount of cleaning vinegar.
Step 4: Set up the robot window cleaner and enjoy your day.
Place the robot on the window and ensure it is securely attached. To do this, hold the robot in place and press the power button until it suctions itself to the window. Once it is attached, you can turn on the robot with a single press of the power button. Use the Zoef Robot smart app or the included remote control for operation if desired. You can select a cleaning pattern or manually control the robot (Evert does not have an app). Simply sit back and relax while your windows are cleaned!
