Harm & Berta: Red LED charging station or F1 message
Only use boundary wire from Zoef Robot.
- Experience shows that with other cables, problems are certain to occur.
As a result, it takes a lot of time and effort to find the cause!
If it is a Zoef Robot cable then;
- The boundary wire is interrupted.
- First check if the boundary wire is properly connected to the charging station.
(move the connectors a bit and check if the LED turns green.) - If it does turn green occasionally;
- Unplug the charging station from the wall socket.
- Remove the connectors from the boundary wire and reconnect them.
Press them firmly shut with pliers and do not strip the cable.
If the above does not work and you doubt whether there is really a break in the cable. Then do the following;
- Take a small piece of boundary wire (10 to 30cm) and attach the connectors and connect them.
- If the LED turns continuously green, the boundary wire has a break somewhere.
- Locate the break. This can be done manually by going along the cable and feeling and looking for any damage or white residue on the cable sheath.
- Replace the piece of cable where the break is with cable connectors suitable for underground use. You can find these here.
