Willen: Can it work in multiple rooms of 200m2?"

We recommend not using more than 2 rooms of 150m2 for Willem to work in.

The reason for this is that Willem stores a map of the rooms he is in. So, if you save 2 rooms in the App and Willem, for example, goes to the next room on a different day, something in that room may have changed. This could be a door that is open or closed, or a shift of objects in the room, causing Willem to close off or split a room and thus not finish the room properly. This would be annoying for you if you expected that room to be completely done, but it wasn't due to the changes in the map.

It is therefore not very wise to use many different rooms for 1 Willem.

How do I replace the Battery?

Is your robot quickly running out of power, or is it no longer charging? Then it might be that with a new battery you can significantly extend the lifespan of the robot vacuum cleaner.

Replacing the battery is quite simple.

You can replace it yourself.

Between the two side brushes/on the bottom of the robot, there is a flap secured with two screws.
You need to unscrew these and remove the battery by unclicking the cable to which the battery is attached.
Disconnect the battery at the plug and connect the new battery.
Reassemble the flap and your robot vacuum cleaner is ready to go again.

Willem: First use and map setup.

First use

Once you have connected the robot in the App, you can let the robot start cleaning in the areas you want to clean.

To do this, choose -> Plan cleaning

The robot will clean in blocks. It will create a map in the App as it drives.
As soon as the map is grey, the robot is still busy or has yet to finish.
The robot will return to the charging station when it thinks it has finished everything.
The map will be colored. As a sign that it is finished.
If necessary, you can now set a NoGo zone by choosing No access and drawing the forbidden areas on the map.
Save the map by tapping the dots (settings) and then going to map selection management.
Choose save so that it saves the complete map. You can then select this map to always use it for cleaning.

Daily use

Manual:

Choose Clean room. Select the rooms to be cleaned and Start the cleaning.
Do not choose Clean at the bottom left. In that case, the robot will map the rooms again.

Schedule/program

Set a cleaning schedule by going to Settings -> Timer

Set the time and suction power and choose whether Willem should do everything or only selected rooms for cleaning. -> Save

Willem: does not empty his dustbin

The robot is vacuumed by the central vacuum unit, but the dust remains in the dustbin.

1. Check if the dust bag in the vacuum unit is open.

2. The dustbin may be too full, causing the dust to be packed tightly together, which could block the passage and prevent the dirt from being removed.

To avoid this, you could either let the robot vacuum more often so that the bin doesn't get too full per cleaning cycle.
Or
Divide the surface into rooms and set them to clean one after another.
In that case, the robot will empty the dustbin between the two cleaning cycles, so less dust will accumulate in the dustbin.

After cleaning, the robot does not back up to the central vacuum unit to empty.

For Willem to empty the dustbin at the charging station, it is important that;

The setting in the app is: Collect dust after cleaning Once.

Willem will only be emptied if he has vacuumed everything. This means that the map is completely created. If Willem is turned on with Clean, he will re-map the room every time. So if there is a part that he does see but cannot vacuum (for example, through a window), he thinks he is not yet finished.
This can be solved by;
- Saving the map (Settings -> Map Selection management -> Save. This is only possible when Willem has vacuumed everything and divided the rooms into colors. This can be recognized by the rooms getting colors.
- Then Room cleaning -> Select the room to be cleaned -> Start
- Or setting the timer -> Settings -> timer -> Add to -> Set this as desired and save.
