Jannie 4.0/4.1: Reversing

Possible causes;

• Dark spots (e.g. a mat) on the floor. The robot could see these as a drop-off and the anti-fall sensors could then intervene.
• Bright sunlight can create a high contrast on the floor. This could make the robot think there is a drop-off and drive backwards.

The robot's bumper sensors cannot see properly.

• Clean the bumper thoroughly
• Press the bumper firmly a few times at the side brushes. The switch behind the bumper may be stuck.
• The fall sensors see something.
• Clean the fall sensors thoroughly.
