Mowing different zones with Dirk

The robot lawn mower can work with different zones. This is very handy if you have lawns in different places around your house. As long as there is room for Dirk to drive to the different lawns, all lawns can be mowed. Dirk drives neatly over the boundary wires so that the edges are also mowed well. Your lawn will always look perfect as a result.

Dirk Installation

Dirk is very easy to install. First, you place the boundary wire around the lawn and secure it with the included pegs. Should you need extra boundary pegs, you can easily order them separately. Extra boundary wire can also be easily ordered through our webshop. The cable will no longer be visible within a few months, as the grass can grow over it. In addition, it is also possible to bury the cable or place it under tiles. After laying the boundary wire, you connect it to the charging station where Dirk goes to charge himself. The robot lawn mower can then immediately start mowing your lawn. Dirk has 3 retractable sharp blades to perfectly cut the grass short. The blades are easy to replace when they become dull over time. • Spot mode function: thanks to this function, you can easily have a specific part of the lawn mowed extra.
• Mulching: by continuously keeping the grass short and mowing it with sharp blades, the grass is fed with the clippings. This ensures an extra dense and healthy lawn, less weeds, and an empty green waste bin.
• Collision sensors: the collision sensors ensure that the mower turns around as soon as it hits an obstacle during its work. This could be, for example, a tree or your garden furniture. If a tree is strong enough, no boundary wire needs to be laid around it.
• Rain sensor: you don't have to worry about Dirk getting wet during a rain shower. The robot lawn mower has a built-in rain sensor to protect both the lawn and the mower. When it starts to rain during a mowing session, Dirk immediately returns to the charging station. If Dirk is at the charging station when it starts to rain, he will postpone his mowing session. After the rain shower, Dirk will resume the next scheduled task. It is also possible to disable the rain sensor. Please note that the mower will then be subjected to extra strain.
• The emergency stop: the emergency stop ensures that Dirk stops mowing easily and quickly (within 0.5 seconds) at all times.
• Lift and tilt sensors: as soon as the mower is at too great an angle or is lifted, the blade motor will stop immediately. The mower must then be restarted with the PIN code. This also ensures that it cannot be used if stolen.

Planning the mower in the App

With the accompanying app, you can easily set up Dirk. You choose a day and time, and Dirk will start mowing your lawn. This robot lawn mower can be set differently every day. This allows you to precisely adjust the mowing cycle to the growth rate of the grass in spring and autumn, for example.

Robot lawn mower Dirk charges automatically, so he is always ready for the next mowing session. In the app, you can see how full the battery is and you can send Dirk to the charging station or put him to work. When Dirk has finished mowing your lawn or if the battery is almost empty during mowing, he will return to the boundary wire you placed in the lawn. Dirk will then go to the charging station via the edge of the lawn to charge himself. Do you want to check if the robot lawn mower has started working? You can do this with the mowing history, which neatly displays the mowing times. If there is something wrong with the mower, you will receive a notification.

Robot lawn mower Dirk with app is very safe to use. First, Dirk has PIN code security. This security prevents people from starting the mower if it is unfortunately stolen. As soon as someone lifts the mower, the PIN code must first be entered to start it.

Entering zones (multi-zone) for multiple lawns.

Do you have multiple lawns around the house? This is no problem for robot lawn mower Dirk. In the app or on the LCD screen, you enter what percentage the mower should mow in a certain area. You also indicate after how many meters of driving over the cable the mower should enter the respective zone. For example, after 10 meters 70% in your backyard and 30% after 60 meters of driving over the cable, for example when it has arrived in the front yard.

You can easily clean Betsie and Dirk with a brush or a damp cloth. Do not use a garden hose or similar methods, as this can allow water to enter the robot, which can lead to defects. Please note: any water damage resulting from this is not covered by the warranty.
